UMD Switched is a companion app for controlling Ultimation Direct's Bluetooth relay time-clock hardware. This page explains, plainly, what the app does and doesn't do with your data.
UMD Switched doesn't have a server, an account system, or any analytics. It talks directly to your relay hardware over Bluetooth Low Energy and nowhere else. We don't collect, store, or see any of your data — there's nothing on our end to collect it with.
Nothing is sent off your phone. The table below covers every category a store privacy label typically asks about.
The app requests Bluetooth permissions (and, on iOS, explains this via the system prompt) for one purpose: connecting to your own relay hardware to read its status, send schedule changes, and issue manual on/off/pulse commands. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise location, and would have no use for any of them.
Since the app has no backend, there is no server-side retention period to disclose. Your relay's schedule lives on the relay hardware itself, under your control, until you change it from the app or reset the device.
UMD Switched is a professional/industrial tool for configuring gate and barrier hardware. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone — of any age — since the app doesn't collect information at all.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that does involve data collection — this page will be updated and the effective date above will change accordingly. We'd only expect that to happen alongside a clearly-announced new feature, not silently.
